Hand in Hand Project Coordinator.

My role is to manage and develop the “Hand in Hand” Inclusion Project for young people aged 6-24 years who have Additional Support Needs. I also work in partnership with Ayrshire College and Culzean Castle & Country Park to co-ordinate and manage Project SEARCH in South Ayrshire, an employment scheme for young people with a Learning Disability or Autistic Spectrum Disorder.”

As the job coach at Project SEARCH South Ayrshire I provide personalised, in work support using systematic learning and coaching strategies to help our interns gain and develop employability skills in a variety of workplaces around Culzean Castle and Country Park.

Community Links Worker.

My job is to help young people with Additional Support Needs to develop their skills working on a one to one basis, while providing support and guidance to families and carers. You’re likely to see me in Z1 Youth Bar and in Girvan Academy.

My role with Girvan Youth Trust involves many tasks which include the delivery of GYT's 'StreetLights' Detached Youth Work Project, supporting our newly formed Youthbank 'Pot of Gold' and assisting the Life’s A Journey project in the delivery of their ‘Working with Schools’ programme. You’re most likely to find me in Z1 Youth Bar or out and about in the local community.”

My role is to support the young volunteers who make up the Participatory Budgeting group. I am their link to other partner agencies and I also source training to help them further their knowledge of the Participatory Budgeting process. You’re most like to see me in Z1 Youth Bar or in the local community.

My roles include supporting young volunteers in their placements, delivering Youth Awards with young people and planning and delivering the Transition Programme with local Primary and Secondary schools. You’re most likely to see me at various groups in Z1 Youth Bar, in Girvan Academy and out in the local community.
