My role is to manage and develop the “Hand in Hand” Inclusion Project for young people aged 6-24 years who have Additional Support Needs. I also work in partnership with Ayrshire College and Culzean Castle & Country Park to co-ordinate and manage Project SEARCH in South Ayrshire, an employment scheme for young people with a Learning Disability or Autistic Spectrum Disorder.”
As the job coach at Project SEARCH South Ayrshire I provide personalised, in work support using systematic learning and coaching strategies to help our interns gain and develop employability skills in a variety of workplaces around Culzean Castle and Country Park.

My role in Life’s a Journey is to assist the Youth Development Co-ordinator with the development and delivery of the ‘Life’s a Journey’ project for young people aged 12-20 in the Girvan area. The role is centred around three strands, a Young Volunteer Programme, a Solo Programme and a Working with Schools Programme. I can be found in Z1 Youth Bar and on some occasions in Girvan Academy.
My role is to support the young volunteers who make up the Participatory Budgeting group. I am their link to other partner agencies and I also source training to help them further their knowledge of the Participatory Budgeting process. My role with Girvan Youth Trust involves many tasks which include the delivery of GYT's 'StreetLights' Detached Youth Work Project, supporting our newly formed Youthbank 'Pot of Gold' and assisting the Life’s A Journey project in the delivery of their ‘Working with Schools’ programme. You’re most likely to find me in Z1 Youth Bar or out and about in the local community.”
